Baroque Splendour
After the downfall of the thirty years war the story moves on, reaching the festive stage set of the Versailles Hall of Mirrors and the magnificent dynasty of the Sun King. Their sumptuous wealth and need for representation brought the glass decorating and trade centres of Northern Bohemia and the crafting of mirrors, crystal chandeliers and refined, cut glasses into blossom.
